Abe and Jen Reese, co-founders of Slate Pickleball Club, fell in love with the sport during a 2016 trip to Longboat Key, Florida. While Jen quickly became a pickleball enthusiast, playing regularly, Abe balanced his passion for learning tennis with his newfound interest in pickleball. As a self-made entrepreneur, Abe is committed to infusing their club with top-notch customer service and technical innovation, ensuring a fun and exciting indoor experience. Together, they aim to create a vibrant community for pickleball enthusiasts.
Sam & Jessica
Sam and Jessica, co-founders of Slate Pickleball Club, discovered their love for each other while learning a game they now love - Pickleball! Sam, an accomplished, athlete-centered coach and former program director at Midtown Athletic Club, met Jess while teaching her tennis. Funnily enough, they learned they lived in the same apartment complex as well and decided to try out Pickleball together. Together, they will manage the club, blending Sam's coaching and leadership expertise with Jess's startup and managerial experience to deliver exceptional customer service and awesome moments for Slate's members.
