While construction is underway, the Slate team has been very busy getting ready for YOU.
What have we been up to:
On Court:
- Our International Slate Staff, consisting of 5 teaching pros, have been busy Beta testing our STAGE methodology through our Foundations, Adult Group Instruction, Practice and Play, Cardio Pickleball, and Juniors. We have a unique, exciting format to ensure you get the most out of your time on court while elevating your level of play faster and funner than anywhere else.
- You can find us at various Open Play locations throughout the North Shore playing in with our future Slate players getting to know everyone. Friday’s at Flick (morning), Saturdays at Shepard (morning), Mondays at Mike’s (evenings), and Wednesdays at Wilmette (mornings). We’ll be handing out merch like it’s no tomorrow!
- Getting on court as a staff to continue working on teaching techniques and strategies so we can give you the latest and greatest.

So much goes into opening a facility like Slate and we are lucky enough to have the time to work together as a cohesive team before our doors open. This will ensure a great experience for our players from the moment they walk through the doors and down the Slate walkway.
